Faces of ATX Music is an ongoing portrait series documenting the individuals I've encountered while photographing live music in downtown Austin. The subjects include musicians, memorable personalities, and the photographers who venture out each night to capture them.

 

The project follows a strict visual framework to maintain consistency across the series. Each portrait is captured using the same focal length, camera settings, and editing approach. The only changing elements are the subjects themselves and the location, as all portraits are shot on site at various venues around the city.

 

The long-term vision for this body of work is to develop it into a series of photo zines or a large-format printed poster that celebrates the diverse and vibrant community behind the ATX music scene.
